Probably go for holiday during the chinese new year week and experience how other countries celebrate their new year.

What's my new year resolution: well, to work hard and score good grades and leave it to fate...that's all.

Merry Christmas

Jingle Bells...Jingle Bells...Jingle all the way...christmas is approaching and orchard road is filled with Singaporeans, foreign talents and tourists absorbing the christmas spirit, despite an erratic weather.

In the midst of shopping and hanging out with frens, a question pops into my mind: "What's the meaning of christmas? Is it all about buying gifts and exchanging it with their frens, carolling in a group, asking for donations, acting as santa and rubbing his belly and take photos with the children, or going to the church to celebrate the birth of christ?"

The reason behind asking this question was not because I do not like christmas (I love it, truly) but it is just that I was wondering do all of us really know the meaning of this festival. This is a question I hope I've an answer to.

Finally...

Phew...finally there's a long weekend for me to look forward to. For the past few days, i've been busy auditing by testing the company's controls and the work keeps flowing in. Still, I feel that this is a good time to learn, especially to build up my confidence in speaking to "strangers" and not to incur their wrath..haha...

All rite...need to take a break now and to be refreshed for a brand new day...

Cheers

Sound of Music Remix

I was switching to various channels on my digital cable and saw this music video by Gwen Stefani. The title of this song is "Wind it up". It's a remix of the famous Sound of Music Song (I can't remember the name but I do know that this song was sung during the scene where maria and the children were playing the puppets). Anyway, this remix was catchy and It gets me dancing to the beat. :-)

Still Awake?

Some of you must be wondering...why am i still awake in the wee hours of the morning? Well, I tried to get some sleep but i couldn't. Am i on a coffee drip...Well, nope as coffee gives me a funny feeling after drinking it and I tried to avoid it. I closed my eyes and tell myself, "Come on, Clavance, don't think too much...you need to relex before your internship which is going to tire you out." However, I couldn't.

Somehow what wakes me up after just only 2 hours of sleep was that I'm begining to reflect on what I've done for the past few years of my life and it crept into my dreams. Sounds strange issn't it but it is true. I asked myself whether what I've done is it worth the while or whether does it go according to what I've planned. Sometimes, I ask myself, "What do I want most in life and is that really what I want." Yup, right now i'm in a university which I've wanted and everyone is different. (P.S. I'm beginning to get sick of this different thing.) I do not know why things turn drastically for worse, after I grad from poly...okie...things were getting calmer these days but I do not know when the bomb is going to explode. Fortunately, I've friends who are willing to listen and share my woes...thanks guys. You are great. God is also kind to me by giving me some memories to smile of and to cherish...:-)

Somehow, is this God's plan to make me a stronger person?....All these events had made me realised how important family is...how important friends are. In the past, I thought I could survive on my own. But now, I realise that even though there were times that you need to be independent, there were times which you need to have support from your frens and family members and there should be mutual support.

So, what's my goal in life: I begin to know the answer...whether it's the right answer, only time will tell...

Yawnz...got to go back to sleep now...3 more days to internship...3 more days of rest and 2 more months of hell or heaven?

Posh Lunch

Looks Yummy, issn't it. This is the Chef's Sweet Specialty, which we had at the end of our main course in our FT (Finishing Touch) Lunch, in the Dining Room of the Raffles Town Club. The "Yellow Box" in the middle of the plate looks like a sponge cake, but it's actually a cheese cake. The cheese cake is actually quite warm, when you put it in your mouth. As for the blue-berries, when you bite it into them, it acts like a dynamite as the juice explodes into your mouth. I hope my description will make u hungry...haha...
